The founder, Dr. Lawrence B. Mensah, was inspired to start Pathway BioMedX ( A part of Pathway Initiative) following his own educational journey. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of the West of England, UK; a Master’s degree in Medical Genetics and Immunogenetics from Brunel University, UK; and a Triple Doctorate in Anatomy, Physiology, and Genetics from the University of Oxford, UK. He trained as a scientist and researcher at the University of Cambridge, UK, Harvard Medical School (HMS), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Given his humble beginnings in a small town in Ghana, Dr. Mensah strongly believes that every child has talent and potential and that, with the right support, they can contribute meaningfully to society. We believe that with access and opportunity, determined and ambitious individuals can achieve fulfilling careers in any path they choose to pursue.
